What is an envelope?
One send. It can hold several documents and go to several people, and it counts once.
Is it really unlimited?
Yes, for normal use by your own organization. If your volume is far outside normal, we’ll talk to you first.
Fair use policyHow do API and MCP envelopes count?
Envelopes you send through the API, or through an AI assistant over MCP, count toward your plan’s monthly API allowance. Sending from the app doesn’t. On Free, the 5 envelopes a month cover both.
What happens if I reach my allowance?
You can upgrade straight away, or wait for it to reset next month. On Platform, extra API and MCP envelopes are 25¢ each.
Do signers pay, or need an account?
No. Signers open a link and sign, on any plan.
Do in-person and kiosk signings count?
They’re sent from the app, so they’re unlimited on the plans that include in-person signing.
Is test mode free?
Yes. Test envelopes are never billed, on any plan.
How does yearly billing work?
A year costs the same as 10 months, paid up front.
Are e-signatures legally binding?
Yes. Electronic signatures are legally binding for most business agreements.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, any time. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
